Since 1981, New Hope Counseling has been helping individuals, marriages and families find hope through difficult mental health struggles. A lot has changed since then, and as a result, and with the advent of Telemedicine, half of my caseload has gone completely remote, with Neurofeedback and clients who prefer face to face interactions being the exception.
In 2022, I moved my family to rural Massachusetts, which increased my commute to Framingham substantially. With the rising costs of literally everything, and the time spent driving, I have decided to move my practice to my home office. As a result, going forward, I will only be taking online appointments with new clients until my practice transitions completely to my new location. As a result, I will be removing the option of doing in person appointments from my scheduler in order to accommodate this transition. I may also be changing the name of the practice to reduce confusion, as there is another New Hope Counseling on the Spencer border that I am not associated with.
The other clinicians associated with New Hope Counseling will remain in the Framingham area. Norm Townsend will still continue to practice and we will send referrals as needed.
I look forward to continuing to work with my present clients, and working with new ones through this transition out of Framingham, and into rural Massachusetts.
